The List
13. Professional Procrastination
11/11/2012 18:51Okay, maybe we don't all have ADD, but when it's time to to be productive, we suddenly require some sort of medication to keep on the straight and arrow. But seriously. There are many ways to procrastinate and instead of writing a report for some class that is required for you to graduate, you are about to read how to procrastinate...
Shopping
(20 minutes - 2 hours)
I always check my email before I start my homework. It's a terrible habit that I should quit because I get distracted so easy. It's like one email from Vineyard Vines telling me their new sweaters are out and suddenly I need a new sweater. When it's still 80 degrees in Texas.
Three hours later, the only thing I have memorized is my credit card number.
YouTube
(30 minutes - 1 hour)
YouTube videos get me Every. Single. Time. I mean, it's always good to stay educated on the latest blooper or hear what Jenna Marbles has to say about... well, anything. And who knows when that YouTube video could be used as a conversation starter with that cute guy you sit next to in Finance tutoring?
Social Media
(30 minutes - Forever)
Stalking old high school flames or the Alabama QB, AJ McCarron (Meeeeeeeoww.) could literally consume an entire evening. I mean, I've never done it or anything, but have you seen McCarron in a bowtie? He's perfect.

Hey daddy! Call me, maybe?
Beauty Maintenance
(1 hour - 3 hours)
Is there really ever a wrong time to paint your nails? It takes like 20 minutes to paint your nails, and 30 minutes after of you not being able to touch or do ANYTHING due to the wet nails. Or you could try to make a bow out of your hair like that picture you saw on pinterest. That's what I plan to do before my next Business Law exam..
Unwrap this and I will kill you. Seriously. Don't touch it.
Netflix
(30 minutes - FOREVER)
Discovering a new television show on Hulu or Netflix is just dangerous. When I discovered MadMen, Gossip Girl and Breaking Bad, I literally watched every episode in like a week. It was both awesome and embarrassing.
Sleep
Do I need to say anything about this?
Go Study. Or whatever the hell it is you are supposed to be doing right now.
